Disk

The idea for the construction of the Disk is derived from the Lobbe; extremely solid and tested too. A solid steel door, thick steel mantel and a fire chamber of refractory concrete. Built to withstand a great deal of fire.
The Disk has an enormous capacity range; 2 to 8 kWh. This means that the Disk burns well at low or high capacity. Ideal for small or well insulated spaces. An extra log on the fire delivers more warmth. The heat is partly stored by the stone cladding and is released slowly.We have used Pergamon for the stone cladding; a new kind of refractory concrete. Pergamon can store a lot of heat and does this for an especially long time. Within an hour, the cladding reaches temperature and remains so for up to 8 hours after you have added the last log.
